Brothers

It's pretty awesome to have a brother. I can say that because I have a good one.

Pax seems to really like being a big brother to Asher and he's been quite helpful and funny in his new role.

A few Pax-isms:

umbilical cord = green pee pee

Pax ran over as I was changing Asher today, grabbed a diaper out and handed it to me. I said, "thanks." He looked up and said, "I'm just doing my job, mom."

Pax refers to Asher as "little buddy" though we don't call him that. "Hey, little buddy, I'm your big brother."

Pax has "conversations" between his cars and trucks related to being a big brother, having a new baby, etc. It's funny to see how he's working it all out. One car told another, "Your baby's gonna be here a yong, yong (long) time." Another car introduced itself as "a big brother."

The first week we had Asher at home, we asked Pax, "Do you like your new brother?" His enthusiastic response, "I LOVE him!" It's great to have a brother!
